Madison Room Needs Help After Storm Damage
This room in a Madison home had storm damage resulting in a broken window allowing rainwater in. Prior to the arrival of the SERVPRO technicians, the homeowner covered the window with some plastic sheeting. Upon arrival, the technicians boarded up the window on the exterior to both secure the property and inhibit any further damage during the mitigation in the home. The homeowner got lucky and the walls were able to dry without any damage to the sheetrock from the rainwater. The hardwood floor also fared well despite exposure to the water. They sealed the window on the interior with a plastic barrier while drying to create a barrier and circulate only warm, dry air in the room.
