Water Damage in Parsippany-Troy Hills Basement

This unfinished basement in Parsippany-Troy Hills had both water damage and evidence of mold. SERVPRO technicians placed items in plastic bags and moved them to a dry area in the basement during cleanup. They used their proprietary antimicrobial cleaners to clean away existing colonies on the wood and masonry and inhibit any further mold growth on the cinderblock wall. The cement floors are porous and hold moisture so extra care is taken during drying to ensure they are completely free of moisture. As seen in the After Photo, the basement walls and floor are dry and there are no visible signs of water loss or mold “Like it never even happened.”
